Mixed Media Ecoprint Painting "Hope" By Carol Ann Webster

Hope Mixed-media on cradle board 4x4x1.5 This 4x4 ecoprint on paper piece is a quiet celebration of what returns each spring. The image is a delicate ecoprint of tickseed flowers gathered from my garden. It rests over a weathered background where shapes of text create gentle contrast and depth.

Mounted on a 4×4×1.5 inch wood cradle board with stained sides, it's ready to hang with D-rings and coated wire.

50.00 AVAILABLE HERE

This mixed-media piece began as a “Botanical Impression” ecoprint made with flowers from my own garden—each petal and stem leaving its unique impression on the paper through steam and pressure. The green vase is a part of the original ecoprint. I scanned the original ecoprint to preserve its natural textures and soft washes of color, then printed it on fine art paper to serve as the foundation for added hand-stitching. The embroidered details add dimension to the flower heads, offering a lovely contrast to the vase and the text background. The image is printed on a 5×7 piece of fine art paper and affixed to an 8×10 white mat with acid-free tape. Ready to frame in any standard 8×10 frame (not included). Visit my Website HERE

"Homestead" Tea Bag Art on Barnwood by Carol Ann Webster Artist

10"x10"x1" Available HERE

This one-of-a-kind piece brings together rusted tea bag paper, stitched fabric, and scraps of story. Centered in the composition is one of my own photographs—an old home place that brings my family’s homestead to mind. Above it, tiny blackbirds take flight beneath clouds made of rusted cheesecloth. The tea bag sits on a piece of worn pillow ticking, its faded blue stripes giving the piece of sense of home and history. Everything is mounted on weathered barnwood—cut, sanded, and framed by a local artisan here in Oklahoma. I used brass tacks to secure the fabric to the wood, leaving the materials visible and honest. This piece is wired and ready to hang. It would feel at home in a rustic space, a cozy studio, or anywhere that welcomes quiet texture and memory.
