Free Art Tutorial "Reverse Coloring on Ecoprinted Papers" by Carol Ann Webster

How about Ecoprint Pages for Doodling?

Reverse Coloring on Ecoprinted Papers Recently, I’ve read about reverse coloring books.

Author Kendra Norton has compiled coloring pages into her “Reverse Coloring Book” that is available for sale. The premise is that the pages are covered with lots of color with the intent of having the reader doodle or sketch lines on the color using a black pen.

Instead of coloring in the black lines like a regular coloring book, the reader draws or doodles the shapes with black pen on the colored page. I thought this was a cool concept and would be a great way to mindlessly doodle and be creative at the same time. But I need to change it up a bit.

Botanical Impression "Three Coreopsis in a Pink Vase" Original Art by Carol Ann Webster Artist

An original botanical impression using the ecoprint on paper process. You can see the colors have bled through the paper on both sides during the pressure and steam needed to make a botanical impression using fresh flowers and leaves from my garden. I’ve added embroidery stitches and tiny beads to highlight the colors and detail on the paper. The botanical impression is 140 lb watercolor paper and colors are what occur during the ecoprint process. The approximately 4×6 watercolor paper is mounted with acid-free tape to the back of an 8×10 white mat. Each of my botanical impressions is an original.

4"x6" in an 8"x10" White mat $75 Available HERE
